At the Reinheim site, Merz also offers contract manufacturing. The location has a 75-year tradition and is technically and pharmaceutically state-of-the-art. Merz employs around 230 people in Reinheim. Contract manufacturing began with blistering and packaging tablets. Semi-solid forms, liquids and blisters for external partners are now also successfully produced. As a competence center for packaging, the location has also developed further within the Merz Group.
