Merz Reinheim started as the first Merz plant-Group 75 years ago with the production of semi-solid forms and liquids. Reinheim has opened its doors to contract manufacturing for 15 years now. As a new strategic direction, contract manufacturing is to assume a dominant position for the location in the coming years.

Contract manufacturing is not only limited to the pharmaceutical industry, but is also important for other industries such as chemicals, food and cosmetics.

The plant meets all regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals, medical devices and cosmetics and is also certified according to the guidelines of the US health authority FDA and also supplies the American market. This means that Merz Reinheim can cover all relevant areas of contract manufacturing.
